Last straw of the best laptop accessories

No chatter. The network connection of this docking station is defective. The network cable doesn't snap into place, so I had to secure it with a rubber band to keep it from falling out. Also, the Thunderbolt port is USB 1 speed at best. Owning several Dell PCs and laptops, none of which were actually repaired during warranty work, was Dell's way. Dell support is marginally competent at best and is usually smug and more interested in selling you a worthless warranty than fixing the problem. Oh, the first Dell dock didn't work and Dell actually tried to get me to just wait for a software update. Yes, I have to pay hundreds of dollars for a broken brick and patiently wait for the software to fix it. Typical Dell setup in my experience. I have a 3 year old Dell laptop that is still waiting for a software update (which will never come out) to fix the Bluetooth issue. Because of this, I won't be buying anything from Dell anymore. I kept the current docking station because I don't use it often and it will at least power the laptop and allow you to connect the power cord with rubber bands. This is my latest Dell product.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
