Ask why I bought this? Lost my airpods and decided why not try the whole google ecosystem (Pixel 3 + Pixel Buds A). I tried it, and I don’t want it anymore and I don’t recommend it to anyone. The Pixel 3 is a great phone. The Pixel Buds A is just a raw, unthought-out product. Its pros: Quick pairing with the phone, shows charging, do not fall off on the street (but this is not accurate). Has cons: They don’t sit in your ears, they are not at all comfortable, I compare them with airpods 2. Conclusion - if airpods 2 didn’t fall out, your ears didn’t strain, etc. google buds probably won't work for you. Gesture control, again compared to airpods 2, is terrible, sometimes one tap is perceived as 2, sometimes 2 as 3. Accordingly, the tracks are rewound instead of pause or rewind.
