I had to trim the plastic on the bottom to fit the headset adapter and also had to trim a bit around the left stick as it increased edge friction and in some cases drastically changed my in-game movement. . After trimming everything worked great. The only remaining problem is that it dangles a bit next to the menu button and can sometimes pinch my finger when I move from the X button to the menu button. The Elite Controller is deformed or falling off, this is a very effective solution.
