Review on πŸ“± Enhanced Search-Optimized Speck CandyShell Case for iPod touch 4G (MoonRock Gray) by Benjamin Michels

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I love so many things but that damn bottom bar breaks every time

I had a sweetheart for my iPod touch 3G and 4G and unfortunately I can't recommend it. - I love the way it "snaps" in place - the rubber rim is just long enough so you can lay your iPod face down without the screen touching a flat surface - I love the protective inner rubber combined with the hard plastic outer shell - the colors are major cons - c the location of the 4G buttons - the volume buttons are much more difficult to press through the case. This was not a problem on 3G. but on 4G I had to do a lot of fiddling to adjust the volume (not a problem for me) - the bottom of the case - to support a full rim - has a very thin rubber/plastic strap. A hard (very thin) piece of plastic broke on BOTH of my lollipops. Once it breaks, the thin piece of rubber dangles freely and is very annoying. I cut off a piece of rubber on my 3G, but the broken ends of the plastic were sharp and sometimes scratched me. I had the 4G case for 45 days - and the bottom plastic part broke again in my purse. I LOVE the candy shell concept - that's all I want in a case. But I can't buy this product anymore until they find a better bottom case solution. For the price, I wish they would fix this problem. By the way, my 3G Candyshell came with a screen protector. My 4G doesn't. Too bad.

Cons
