After doing some research and getting feedback from friends, I settled on this Speck case. After about two weeks it has already fallen apart from the bottom where the adapter is connected.

I know many people who have this case. We love it, but the bottom plastic portion of the charging mount is cracked. I don't know how to avoid this as it needs to be fully inserted in order for it to charge. I love the color and otherwise it's holding up great.

Excellent case! I drop my phone all the time so I need a good case. It's easy to put on the phone and quick to take off. The only problem I had was with the delivery (it took about a month!). However, the case is defined. My favorite case to date and I have had iPhones since they first came out. The inside is soft and the outside is hard, which helps a lot at impact. Increasing and decreasing the volume is easy, and these buttons are protected too. If you're clumsy - you need this case! haha

I bought this case for my iPod Touch over a year ago and have loved it ever since. Haven't used it lately because I have an iPhone now, but I'm pretty sure I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't broken or anything. I had a sweetheart for my iPod touch 3G and 4G and unfortunately I can't recommend it. - I love the way it "snaps" in place - the rubber rim is just long enough so you can lay your iPod face down without the screen touching a flat surface - I love the protective inner rubber combined with the hard plastic outer shell - the colors are major cons - c the location of the 4G buttons - the volume buttons are much more difficult to press through the case. I won't say much but I just bought a new 4g iPod Touch and obviously it needed a case. So far so good with that. It doesn't interrupt ports or lenses, the buttons work (press hard, but that's no big deal) and it slides in and out of my bag easily. Bought this for my daughter to cover her I Pod Touch (latest model 4) which she got for her 12th birthday at the end of September. I'm so glad Speck made these cases.
