I bought these to have on hand when I run out of old drives. The first CD took a long time to record. The computer made noises I had never heard before. It sounded like the beach. After about 1.5 hours, it ended and caught fire at 6 times speed. I tried to make another copy but it crashed with a typo. I tried again. The same thing. I thought I would have to buy a Blu-ray drive. However, my sister gave me some non-printable Sony discs. Wow! Doesn't matter! The PC realized it could record at 12x speed and it was done in no time. No background noise. Sony discs feel like a familiar Blu-ray disc to me, they're a bit thicker than DVDs. These optical quantum discs look like DVDs. I now have 47 of these worthless discs left and the return deadline was in May. Lesson learned. You CAN pay too little! Run away! Raven's choice. That's where I learned my lesson!
