I haven't worn athletic or shorts in a long time. I've always hesitated to buy shorts online because my pants have an odd fit. Basically, I need something that fits my waist but isn't too big on my legs. I have found that the shorts on my body (5ft 4cm to be exact) come to about mid-thigh and can ride up a bit when sitting. But when it comes to climbing, it's not bad. They have an elastic waistband that is very comfortable, the fabric is breathable and thin. I recommend wearing underwear that fits and/or is seamless to create fewer lines. This is if you have a tight fit. Either way, this is a purchase I will make again. These are great casual shorts for summer and/or running when it's insanely hot and muggy outside.
