I am a hobby woodworker, I have a very good wood shop. I am selective about the instruments I buy and expect them to live up to my high expectations. I don't know why it took me so long to invest in cutters and not cutters. I now use Bosch clip-on wing bits for many router table operations. They are best used for cutting grooves for inserting the drawer bottom into the sides of the drawer frame. Also great for adding slits along the top edge of small box projects where you glue the box with the top in place and then saw the top and bottom as a final step. While I could fit a blade/box blade into my table saw, connecting the wing cutter to the shaft in the router table and setting the fence is much quicker. The best part is the clean cut they make and the groove doesn't get clogged with sawdust. I thought those big spinning parts would feel unsafe, but how light the woodcuts are and the lack of kickback gives me complete confidence that I'm working safely. I have three sizes now and will complete the full set because I love them so much.
