Exactly the style and quality I was hoping for! Soft terry fabric on one side and ends of loofah side. The terry has a low pile/"velvet" meaning it is very smooth and not rough at all. A washcloth is a washcloth, it's eternal! (I have a 20 year old mitten.) It's very easy to use - I have osteoarthritis in my arms and back and haven't had any trouble. It's just the right length and the handles are a good size so it fits both men and women. (I'm 5ft 6in and 200lbs). I don't use a washcloth on my back. The terry side was perfect. Only time will tell how strong and durable the fabric pieces will be, but they are very thick and strong - the stitching is designed for heavy use. I expect this to last a long time. Very happy with this product.
