Puts your feet in a loop, not sure how much it helps

It might be a bit long but this is my first time trying a product like this and I want my experience do it pretty thoroughly. I guess they're more for women, but I'm a guy whose feet have needed help for a while (probably because I never do anything to take care of them). My feet were covered with thick calluses and cracked on the heels and even a little on the balls closer to the toes. I used a foot grinder and lots of lotion, which fixed a lot of issues over time, but didn't seem to fix it until I saw it. I decided to give it a try and see how it goes. The package is pretty basic. The instructions are very simple, but somehow I wanted more. I'd love to know more about what it does to my feet or how it works, but it's basically just a list of ingredients and four simple steps: wash feet, open package, leave for 45-60 minutes, and rinse. It also tells you to soak your feet for 10-15 minutes every day afterwards and gives some warnings such as: B. to avoid removing dead skin by hand. You just have to drop it when it's done. When I finally decided to try it, I opened the package and at first thought it wouldn't work. I wear a men's size 13 and these things don't look that big. It took a bit of effort, but I was able to stretch them a bit without tearing the plastic boot and slip my foot inside. Because it was so tight I didn't have to use tape to hold them to my feet, but either way I recommend not walking in them. It can feel a bit slippery and it's probably best to avoid all sodium products on your floors if they are opening or cracking. I left them on for a full hour (my feet needed all the help they could get) and I thought I was starting to notice tingling after about 45 minutes, but it could be psychological. When the time was up, I took them off and dried my feet. Back then it was just a waiting game. After a few days I noticed that my feet were a bit more sensitive. It felt like a light sunburn on the tops and bottoms, which is basically what I think it was. After about three days I started to see the skin peeling off. Once again I was reminded of the sunburn when it started to flake off. It was really hard not to tinker with it and help the process, so I usually put on socks (very carefully at first because my feet were still very sensitive). It helped too, because at that moment they were so ugly that they were disgusting to look at. They looked like they belonged to a 150-year-old man with leprosy. This lasted for several days, so another warning. Don't use this a few days before you need to wear open-toed shoes or sandals in front of people; you will regret it. After about eight or nine days, I finally completed the moulting phase. It's 11 days old today and if you look closely the top is still chipping a bit but I think it's mostly done. So the big question is, did it work? Well, it's really hard for me to say. Are my feet soft and smooth? Yes, they are feeling a lot better, but anything would be a huge improvement from where they were a few days ago. I still have cracks and calluses. I wonder how much of the dead skin was part of the original problem and how much was caused by the product itself. There are two kits in the pack so I can try again to see if it helps more, but I'm not sure I want to go through the whole process all over again right away. It's probably not good to do this too often, but there's no indication in the instructions. I think the product did what it was designed to do, just not sure if it's what I needed.
