Mine works great not as pretty as the pictures advertised, I put mine on a silicone case with tabs two things not recommended and it stays in place no problem. I clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, tape and hold for a minute or two to squeeze out any air bubbles, then leave on the surface to cure. When I come back I press again and check it. It's set up well, I don't usually use it on my first day. If you're willing to wait, the adhesive will stay in place. If you try to use it right away, it may not work. A large air bubble collects in the middle and needs to be squeezed out.
