I have been using this plastic film dispenser for about 3 months when I write this review. It is used daily and is perfectly preserved to this day. I've always hated using plastic wrap. If, like me, you bake homemade bread two or three times a week, you probably spend a lot of time fighting plastic wrap and swearing all the time. This little gadget will fix that. This makes it so easy to keep the cling film from folding until it's completely useless. Simply place the dispenser on the counter next to the container to be covered, pull the film over the top and press the top of the dispenser to cut. Voila! That's all! No more swearing! The same applies to the packaging of loaves of bread; Simply swipe some of the wrapper onto the counter, measure out what you need to wrap the bread, press to slice and the wrapper stays flat on the counter! Dead easy! And just when you think it can't get any better, it does! The product description says you need to buy a special and probably expensive cling film from the manufacturer. Not so. I've filled it with regular grocery wrap a few times and it works great. Longer rolls won't fit, so keep that in mind when shopping, but any brand will work with this handy device. I really love this item and highly recommend it!
