I thought Teva Verra would be an alternative to Teva Tirra which I love. Unfortunately, this is a downgrade in every way. The insole is thinner and poorly defined. It is shorter than Tirra of the same size. It also got narrower and I had to loosen the toe strap to allow the velcro to only snag a half inch. There is no lining under the finger loops. The ring that the sock strap goes through goes right over the toe where it can rub. The ankle strap is over an inch shorter than the Tirra. To make it safe enough to walk on it would be too tight for comfort. Also, both straps leave enough velcro exposed to pick up all kinds of debris. I will be returning these sandals.
