I have a hamster and found this cage to look good with enough room to run and dig. But this is the worst cage I have ever bought. Once you place the mat on the floor, it clamps around the wheel and the wheel does not spin. The water bottle was not dispensing water, I watched the hamster try to drink and there were no air bubbles in it. I took the bottle from the other (smaller) cage and my hamster was able to drink straight away. This cage says it has a universal connector for adding hoses. This morning I went downstairs and found the hoses I had added lying on the floor and my hamster running around the house. This is not a universal connector and does not provide a reliable connection. I suppose you could tape it in place, but then you would have to remove the tape to replace the pipes. I had this cage for a few weeks and it failed for a number of reasons. Very dissatisfied with this product.
