Canopy too narrow

Of course an 11 inch cake stand can easily handle 9 inch cakes, I thought. And while this only applies to a single layer cake, it doesn't apply to anything higher. I stacked two 9 inch cakes and the top crushed my cake around the edges. Just make it the same diameter as the base! This problem is easy to avoid.
