Not for big strong dogs. The 1/2" line broke after only 6 weeks of use. This line would have been better if it hadn't been split in half during weaving. This creates a weak point of 2 loosely intertwined thin lines, each about 6- 7mm. One of them broke at that very moment. In my opinion, aesthetically pleasing at the expense of durability. And no, our Doberman is not a vicious fighter. Sometimes I have to give him a little sign to motivate him. That's all. Most of the time he behaves well and doesn't react at all.The leash is nice but needs improvement.I wouldn't recommend it.
