Revainrating 5 out of 5

More than I expected.

+++Update+++ As I sit here, I'm weathering Hurricane Matthew here in Central Florida. I received these 2 days before the storm and was instructed to weather the storm at my workplace in the hospital for about 2.5 days. Just packed everything I needed, bagout style. managed to pack bathrobes and underwear for 3 days, 1 pair of pajamas, toiletries, a light compact microfiber towel, phone, charging cable, 2 batteries, 2 books, stethoscopes, scissors, as well as a Molle II sleep system controllable portable backpack with my old school sleeping bag. plus a few other essentials. Total weight, I think around 40 pounds. I'll weigh it later when my colleague wakes up and maybe take a picture or two. I'm even increasing the rating to a 5 at this point, just got them last night to replace a very cheap and free shoulder bag I got as a freebie from my employer. The thing is almost perfect. I am also a retired military man and the design on this one seems very imposing and comparable to a military issue. Coming from Germany I am not surprised by the quality. He has a variety of Molle straps to create this backpack. It also stretches with compression straps. For a compact size I'm really impressed. It also has a decent compartment that will easily fit a 3L hydration pack. 4 main compartments with many mesh pockets inside for organization. For naked minimalists this would be perfect for up to 3 days of on the go or listening due to the Molle attachment points. My purchase goal was to organize my work essentials, store my phone and tablet, and hopefully pack lunch. It won't fit in standard lunch bags, but I'll look into various food containers and fridges that will fit in this thing. It can also be used as a more than adequate emergency survival bag.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity
