Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Suspension Performance with SPC Performance 95339 Cone Style Bump Stop for GM Vehicles by Dre Bhatt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Mandatory item for 1994-1996 Impala SS

This is the fender known as the ZQ8 Fender and is used in the ZQ8 Sport Package for the S10 Pickup. This replaces the standard "bailout stop" with a foam "spring" that brings the suspension to a soft stop rather than a fall stop. This will work with any B or D body GM car (Caprice, Impala, Roadmaster, Fleetwood) from the 90's and probably the 80's and maybe 70's versions too. This is most valuable on lowered vehicles, and the B-body Impala was lowered from the factory. This results in a poor ride over potholes and rough roads. This bumper greatly improves bump riding and also improves corner entry by increasing the spring rate when it contacts the control lever. On a stock Impala SS, the jounce bumper is constantly near touch or touch, and that's okay. On a lower than stock Impala, the jounce bumper is touching all the time, and that's okay too. The stop can be trimmed a bit, but this results in a stiffer ride, although it's still better than the stock or urethane stops that come with many lowering kits. about 2 minutes on each side.
