Review on 💧 White SteriPen Classic 3 Bundle: UV Water Purifier with 40-Micron Pre-Filter for Enhanced Water Purification by Brandon Havlicek

This product broke after about 20 uses and unfortunately abroad. The UV lamp worked for a week during my trip, but no longer lights up. I read the manual listing the green/red light pattern to diagnose the problem, but the pattern was indistinguishable. I emailed Steripen support whilst abroad and they assumed the lamp was faulty based on my description - having owned it for 3 weeks and only used 20 times. After that single support reply I tried to reply to them for 6 emails and got no reply or follow up from them at all. Very annoying to say the least. Luckily, before using the Steripen, I pre-filtered the water with a 1-gallon Sawyer Products SP160 Gravity Water Filtration System bag with a dual-thread mini-filter, so the Steripen should provide secondary protection. I would highly recommend the Sawyer Gravity Bag as it eliminated the need to purchase water bottles during our 18 day summer trip.
