It took me a while to find a product that met my needs and this product checked all the boxes. Required: 1) A product that was level with the dashboard and did not obstruct visibility while driving - verified 2) Well made - verified 3) Easy to use - verified 4) Does not obstruct airflow through the vent - verified 5 ) Stays securely attached to the vent - tested 6) Fits my phone in the case - tested 7) Lets me charge my phone while it's attached - tested Pleasant surprises 1) The price is a good deal for its performance and manufacture 2) 360 degree rotation 3) Feels well made and solid. I have a hard time finding products these days that are well made so it was great to see this product showing up and feeling well constructed. Only problem: 1) The instructions were not well written. The car mount consists of two parts that need to be assembled. I dragged the video onto You Tube to make sure I connected the two pieces properly. Basically, you have to insert the ball into the threaded nut. The ball seems bigger than the hole you have to put it through so I uploaded a YouTube video to make sure I didn't damage it or put it together incorrectly. Once the two pieces are attached, it's ready to use. I've only had the car mount for about two days and have used it quite a bit. So far it's working the way I wanted it to. I will update my review if anything changes but for now I am happy with my purchase.
