My previous Adidas Superstars: rubber/composite around the ankle and inside the shoe. (Picture 2) Earlier models lasted at least two years in pairs, were very hard-wearing, comfortable and breathable. It was the original Coke, a hit for good reason: reliable and consistent in quality and standard for many. Those Superstars I got from Revain? Polyester/cloth, uncomfortable and abrasive on ankles, significantly lower durability and overall quality - they barely last 8 months. (Image 1) Adidas thought people wouldn't notice?!
