Fun drone, good quality photos

Disclaimer: I have a DJI Mavic Pro and started with the Holy Stone Quadcopter. I have flown smaller ones like the DJI Spark which are similar in size. For the price I would say this is a five star drone. You get a lot for $80. Pros: Small, handy size - the drone is big enough to feel like a good car, but small enough to be portable, especially when folded, which is nice because it lends itself to easy travel. You can also just take off and land it hand to hand. Reliable and reasonably crash proof - the blade guard felt flimsy and didn't hold up well so I flew without it. The drone coped well with test drops. The propellers held up well, with only minor scratches from impact with the ground and nearby trees. The copter just hit the ground and the arms crossed on impact. Quiet - The drone's audio is relatively quiet and not too loud. I was able to talk to my loved ones during the flight without raising my voice as long as the helicopter was within a few feet of me. The auto flip feature is fun. When executed, the aircraft will rotate in the direction you specify, rapidly roll left, right, forward, or backward, and return to hover when complete. The flip function will not work if the battery power falls below a certain percentage. Battery and Connectivity LED Indicators - Easy to see when on the ground, showing battery information when charged or low, and connected when first powered on. The taillights are green and the front lights are red, but they're hard to spot in daylight when they're more than 30 feet away. Good range. I flew the drone about 70 or 80 feet sideways and about 40 feet up with no problem before landing for fear of gusts of wind. It worked without any noticeable lag. Headless mode is a great feature for pilot training, especially for a drone that doesn't have a camera. However, the instructions on how to do this are quite confusing and it took me a full 5 minutes of fiddling with the controls to get it working. To make this work, lift off, press and hold the button on the top left of the controller until it beeps, then push the stick forward. The forward direction will remain relatively forward until this feature is disabled. Setup - It was easy to do and I liked the tactile feel of the joystick buttons. I found this works well. The usability of the camera is high-quality and fun. However, I'm kind of in the middle on this topic, so the camera has both advantages and disadvantages. It offers an accurate representation of what the drone is seeing and I experienced almost no lag. I liked the resolution of the picture. It's not very easy to use, but I was able to figure out most of the controls while flying. Battery: Battery life was good, ranging from 22 minutes to 1.5 hours of charging. I haven't streamed any video which I assume uses a bit more battery but for my medium intensity flight I was very happy with the flight times, especially considering they give you two batteries which will give you around 45 minutes can give. flight time. Cons: unstable/jerky camera. Because the camera is rigidly attached to the body of the drone, the video is very choppy and jerky when flying and tilting the drone, especially when descending. The video became very shaky. However, due to the instability, I was more inclined to use photos instead of videos. I also found the field of view to be frustratingly narrow and made me wish the drone was looking up. The instructions aren't very clear - I had trouble enabling headless mode and setting up the camera and point of sale with this drone. I've found this to be a common problem with Syma instructions and it just makes the products more difficult to use. There are occasional typos and the layout is confusing.
