I don't know what to say. I bought it to use at work with my Motorola Droid. I'm a few days into it and it's working fine so far. I had no issues with the cable and had no trouble connecting my droid to it. This cable meets my expectations. I will unsubscribe if I have problems with it in the future. Update (4/17/2013) 3 years later and the cable still works fine for me. I've been using it with HTC Windows Phone 7 for a year and a half with no problems. It stayed connected to my desktop and I never had a problem with it. If they didn't change the cable, I definitely got my $5.
