Cracked lids and terrible customer service

Two of the three lids broke when the unit was first heated. The plastic in the lids is thin and brittle. I soon learned that customer service at this company (Pyle) consisted of endless phone calls and emails. I was eventually told that I would have to pay an $8 shipping fee to have the caps replaced under warranty, but then I was redirected to a website that I couldn't log into. At this point I don't think they will actually ship the caps after I pay the fee. I would never buy a product from this company again.
