Cheap and not very functional

There are good cheap ones and bad cheap ones. How could I give a $6 tripod a star? Because it doesn't work like a tripod at all. I wanted them to hold my lights during Zoom calls. Lights about 8 oz. First, the "Taurus" is rough and difficult to tune. Second, the legs do not remain bent inward or outward. They just hang out. Nothing keeps them open or closed. Thirdly, leg extension works purely by friction, just like the old antennas of the 1970s. The problem is that after a little use they become unusable. They slowly slide back under the weight of my lamp. I think if you're on a very tight budget and using it with something lightweight like a phone, you might be fine. For my use it doesn't hold the position and tips over easily. I bought 3 pieces for 6โ‚ฌ each. Cheap but not really because I'm getting $18 plus tax for something that doesn't work. That makes it very expensive.

  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Can I add something
