I prefer this finely detailed stamp in white or light ink on black or dark card stock. It has a masculine connotation but can be included in pieces that are gender neutral or overtly feminine. As with most large wooden stamps, I prefer to place the stamp ink side up on my work surface and flatten the paper over it rather than pressing the stamp against the cards as it gives me more control over my printing. ink transfer.
