Damaged in less than a year

I bought a pair, one for Nintendo Switch and one for Kindle Fire HD8. Kindle Fire started displaying a message that the card could not be read. I had tried deleting and formatting but it says it's corrupted or damaged. I put it on my Windows 10 desktop in an unlocked state and Windows can't format it either. Warranty case opened at Gladstone.
