Review on GOCOM G600 FRS Walkie Talkies - Long Range 2W Two Way Radio for Adults, Rechargeable, VOX Scan, NOAA & Weather Alerts, LED Lamplight - 2 Pack Handheld Radios by Travis Rogers

Bought for use on a farm, the distance is no more than 200 meters. I haven't tried long range testing as I live in a very hilly area where no civilian portable radio would get far anyway. The light blue color is convenient - they are difficult to lose. One of the previous reviewers complained about the difficulty in opening the battery compartment, but it seemed trivial to me. Only slight complaints are that adjusting the speaker volume isn't as easy with the buttons as it is with a knob, and I miss the "call" button, which was a bit on my old Cobras. On the plus side, they fit in a shirt pocket, which the Cobras wouldn't. Another plus is the ability to tie a string to the bottom. I will use this spring when I'm on a tractor, not a belt clip.
