Review on 5-Pack Bolter Men'S Cotton Spandex All Day Boxer Briefs - Comfort & Durability Guaranteed! by Duke Ballard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better fit than other brands

Update for the new 5-pack: Teal/Maroon/Navy/Charcoal/Black (or something like that) -- bumped my previous reviews to the bottom, since the 5-packs those are for seem to be discontinued.I had been tempted to go down to a medium before (the previous two 5-packs I got were size large, but I'd lost some weight and now I'm down to about 30 inches at the smallest part of my waist and 40 inches at the fullest part of my seat/hips/quads), but worried about the snugness of the legbands. Once I saw that the new 5-pack claimed that the legbands had been made less snug, I snagged a set, and they are quite comfortable. Nothing drove home how loose/baggy the larges had gotten like trying on the new mediums. I don't notice I'm wearing them (so they aren't overly snug anywhere), but when I look at myself in the mirror, they look like they fit well. (The larges look baggy / ill-fitting on me, and they ride up more, so then I *do* notice I'm wearing them.) So, still definitely 5 stars, since trying to find boxer briefs that fit comfortably around my glutes & quads without being too loose at the waist is usually a headache. (I wear them low on my waist where the measurement is probably closer to 34 or 36, but any looseness still seems to encourage ride-up with most brands I've tried, and these waistbands are forgiving but also seem to be able to "hug" a smaller waist without ride-up.)Old review for the Red/Green/Purple/Slate/Black 5-pack:The red ones fit perfectly, the green and grey ones are a touch snug, and the black and purple ones are a little loose. Other than the inconsistent sizing, though, I love them. The waistband is nice and snug on all of them (the inconsistency seems to be in the stretch of the leg bands), and they all fit much better than other boxer briefs I've owned. I'll probably be picking up another set of these colors at some point and a set of the other package with blue and olive. (I wish there were more options for ten packs, but buying two 5-packs is already a very good deal.)Regarding the particular size I got, I ordered in size Large and they seem to be snug enough in the waist to "hug" my 34-inch waist and loose enough in the hip/thigh/seat to accommodate my 44-inch hip measurement. I continue to be astonished at how well they deal with that 10-inch gap (most other boxer briefs don't seem to).Old review update for the Navy/Olive/Slate/Blue/Black 5-pack:I'm still very happy with these -- now with all 10 pairs I have. The newer pack is less "broken in", so it seems a bit snugger for the moment, but I expect some colors will remain snugger than others in the leg band area, once I've broken them in. Even with the bit of inconsistency, they all fit comfortably, even on my odd proportions.
