Wow. where to start I hate this robe so much I would burn it if I didn't care about adding carbon to the environment. Let's start with the price - BAD! The cheapest stuff - for $70?!? - So don't expect a plush, expect a dull/fuzzy magnet, which I've been researching for a few days. Since my husband hates sloppy clothes and throws a tantrum every time I wear something he finds unsexy, the huge, fluffy robe better be worth the backlash I can expect when he sees me in it. When I opened the Amazon envelope, my heart sank. It was already so ugly in the packaging 😩 Then I tried it on. And my sadness evaporated and turned into a thick sediment of irritation, which turned into full anger. It's not just the tattered look of a plain and dull black robe. but you can't wind it either. Once again - YOU CAN'T WRAP IT. Every robe I own or have borrowed from a spa or hotel wraps around my waist and has a tie (ROB OUTSIDE) that I can tie around my waist. . No matter the size of the robe, I could wrap it around me as tightly as I wanted and tie it. Not this coat! This gorgeous hack has a piece of SATIN RIBBON (eyuu) for a tie that is BEAUTIFUL INSIDE the robe - the photo says "elastic waist" which I didn't notice, but it's not elastic, it's a piece of it Satin ribbon in a pocket on the inside of the robe - MY NOTE: You can't wrap the robe because the tie is inside - so tie the robe without wrapping it. absurd. So it can't be closed tightly around you, it ties together with a ribbon and then sits on top of you like a giant cotton pile tent. I can't wear this. My husband is going to divorce me. and I wouldn't want to either, because I don't like carrying tents of fluffy pile that gather fabric that flaps in the wind. Phew 🤢 I can't return it because I don't go to the post office due to the pandemic so I'll probably let my dog chew it.
