I'm starting with a Fedex curse because mine arrived slightly damaged and the box is open. One of the heat shields received several scratches. I'm not urging the seller at all. Shipping was fast and everything so it's not their fault. I have contacted them and you can return them but they will require you to return the entire package (no thanks). Since the scratches were relatively minor, I bought a small Revain high-temp pen. So far this works quite well. You can still see where they've been, but they fit in better after you've driven a bit and the heat shields are nice and hot. The whistles themselves are amazing. I have a 17 Iron 883 and I would honestly say it's at least twice as loud as it used to be, maybe 3-4 times louder. It struck me how loud they are to understand why some people need quiet partitions especially if you live in an apartment or subscribe to receive complaints. They are loud! I can also definitely recommend the Fuel Controller. I have the V&H FP3. Also, make sure you have a high capacity air filter too. I have a large Arlen Ness teat but there are many options on the market.
