Review on 🔒 Aurora AU1210MA Pro High Security 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder for Paper, CDs, and Credit Cards with 60-Minute Continuous Run Time by Daniel Ogbebor

I bought this to replace my dying Cross Cut Royal model which is noisy and having trouble removing items to shred after 14 years; It was nice to upgrade to a higher level of security that promised to be quieter. AU1210MA is much quieter, so it gets 5*; However, I've found that after 15 minutes of grinding in less than 40 minutes of session, random odd streaks are longer than the P-1 level (see image). Other bits look like a cutting blade, stopping at the edges on the final twist of the break. Not sure if it's on one side or both but the picture shows what I was able to fish out of the chopper bag. I am very disappointed with this brand and the chopper. It looks like a waste of time I spent researching which one to buy and from whom. If this is a standard error tolerance that does not correspond to material reduction, the safety level should be P-2.5. Who will have time to ensure that everything that should have been sanded is completely destroyed after each session? This car has 1 job and it fails miserably. Attention buyers. I don't recommend this if you want a reliable car. After contacting Revain about this issue, they contacted an Aurora Customer Service Representative to determine if this was a known issue. The Aurora representative accused me of destroying both unused and used envelopes. They believe that all sticky products cause their product and all paper shredders to work this way. When I mentioned that I've never experienced this with my Royal shredder, I was told that's why it stopped working. I wish they would say that to Jeff Bezos. Conclusion: Aurora's customer support and solving the problem by sending it in for repair is ridiculous, it should have worked correctly right out of the box and didn't require any adjustment after a short 1 day of use! Blaming the customer for the problem is also distasteful, I followed the instructions in the owner's manual and removed all sticky glue from all sheets before shredding and did not apply any adhesive labels that were sticky or sticky. 3 star rating for unprofessionalism at Aurora, expected machine not to perform as advertised due to 'user error' rather than poor design, excellent low noise level kept it above 2* any staff I have dealt with at Revain , exceeded all expectations.
