I wasn't sure how often I would need multiple sockets, but I wanted to buy a multiple socket extension just in case. This product serves its purpose. I taped it to the wall next to my desk with double sided tape and it works great. From there, I can just plug in a USB cable to charge my portable charger, plug in lights, and more. I can also quickly charge my laptop. Its performance is very good, as if plugged into a regular outlet. I really haven't used the switch very much, but it doesn't work the way I thought it would. I thought that pressing the switch would turn off the power to the product, but that's not the case as the light is always on when plugged in. So if you want to save energy, turn off the product.
