I installed this part and it works great. As a mechanic, if you are confident in your diagnosis, then this is the way to go. Volkswagen OEM wants $245 tax for a similar part. With the Revains guarantee, this is a great alternative. Especially if the car has a high mileage, why fit an expensive factory part? The trick is knowing when to rely on cheaper replacement parts. You look at the reviews and make a decision. I wanted to add that it is very important to inspect spark plugs and ignition wires. If you change the coil and do not replace the failed spark plugs, that coil or the factory coil will fail again. Ignition coils begin to "tunnel” after failure and leakage of other ignition secondary parts.
