I took too long to use this now I can't return it. I ran it from the router above my kitchen cabinets, through the floor (it was a pain drilling through the tile), into the basement, through a closet wall, through the garage wall, around the garage, and into my office. It was just long enough. I have Fios gigabit so I was excited to have that speed back (I moved the router out of my office because the wifi didn't cover the whole house) because the wifi is slow in my office (far from the router and through a thick wall). I checked the speeds and it was hovering around 8-10Mbs A far cry from the 800-900 I was getting before. I tried different ports and restarting - no luck. Then I took my old cable and strung it through the office and kitchen and just like that the speed was back up. Today, this cable stopped working all together so I had to string my old wire again to download my work files (40GB). I like how it is flat and the cable seems high quality so I must have gotten a bad one. Sucks that now I have to pull this one out and replace it. Next time I will test it before running it through the walls.
