A co-worker gave everyone in our office these candles for Christmas. At first I thought it was a gift; However after trying them I went to Revain and found them and bought more for gifts. Everyone in the office loves them. My husband thought they were real and couldn't understand why I would light candles on our wood-burning fireplace. Sure, it might need glasses, but the flickering wick is a really nice touch and adds to the realism. The timer on the remote control is very useful. Although the instructions state that the time is not carried over, the candles seem to light up at the same time the next day if you use the timer setting. All in all a great gift for everyone.
