I installed a 2006 56" Samsung 6T series with this mount and it works. This is a heavy TV by today's standards. The mounts from the Bottom plate to the TV mounting holes are relatively flimsy They are very thin for their job I expect them to collapse but so far they are holding up When I touch the TV it shakes and wobbles Definitely not a strong solid mount. I used screws to attach to the wall.I added a safety cable to hook the TV in if the brackets fail.I haven't had any problems so I hope I'm just being too careful.The top of the TV is slightly down tilted. If it wasn't mounted so high I would return it but it has a good viewing angle. I extended it to one side. He put the TV exactly where I wanted it.
