Review on 🐢 Orijen Regional Red - Premium 25 lb Dry Dog Food for Optimal Health by Jill Williams

Worth every penny! - Food

Despite numerous studies confirming that the incidence of cancer and other chronic diseases in pets has skyrocketed since dry food became the "norm" (my grandparents and all previous generations cooked food for their dogs, fed them leftovers and lived more than 15 years without cancer). Orijen is one of the best dry dog foods available. Be very wary of Purina and other food brands that are subsidiaries of larger food corporations, as it is almost impossible to deny the possibility that they are using human waste and other waste in your pet food. Orijen has the fewest reviews and is committed to offering only the highest quality products in its dog food. The food comes vacuum packed which is important to keep it fresh and to ensure the food is free of bugs and insects (search the internet for what can happen to the food if bugs or parasites get in! mould, bacteria etc. BIG!) My dogs have gone through several brands over the years and I will say without hesitation that Orijen was not their favorite. I see a lot of comments from people that their pets didn't like it, but I understand that replacing your pet's food with something other than junk food may need to be done gradually (so as not to upset their digestion too!). not coated. with all the delicious fats and artificial flavors and colors that other food brands have, so it may take a while to get used to it - much like your kids devour Mickey D's and other greasy, sugary foods but skip broccoli, beans and Brussels sprouts on a plate. Gradually mixing it with other foods and slowly cutting out fatty foods will teach them to enjoy it. As a family, they're naturally dogs and can't feed themselves - so they end up eating anything you give them - and if you need to feed bites, this is one of the best options out there. My dogs have been eating Orijen for the past two years (these are young dogs under 3 years old but I see a noticeable improvement in their energy, coat, stool and general health). Meanwhile, I also mix dry food in equal parts with human food. A high-quality homemade pet food called Lucky Dog, which was even more beneficial to their health and digestion (less poop, less smelly poop, my French bulldog has virtually no skin allergy symptoms, etc.). But even if you only feed kibble, you won't be disappointed with Orijen - just look it up online if you're unsure about spending a little more for your beloved pet!
