Review on Orient Kamasu Japanese Automatic Stainless Steel by Jim Fuhrer

Great watch at a great price. This watch is amazing in person. Online photos say nothing. The build quality is fantastic for the price. Overall I'm very impressed. For the money, mine runs about +8 seconds per day (within spec). Sapphire crystal, updated and new movement, day of the week and date work in one frame unlike most watches. Japanese-made automatic mechanism that allows hacking and manual winding. You are ok with the specs. The only downside I see is that the bracelet is not of the best quality. It's fine for what it is, but the clasp is a bit longer and has hollow end links. I'll probably update it in the future, but so far so good. One misconception is that the crown dangles. Yes, the crown is a bit loose for some reason. This watch uses a two-piece spring-loaded stem for the screw-down crown function. The spring allows the crown to move when fully extended. It also offers better shock resistance and protects the mechanism from damage. All in all I am very impressed. I wasn't thrilled with the watch at first when I saw it online. After browsing through this and a few other models, I'm more than happy I chose this one.
