NICE! good for clothes

This is an incredibly beautiful watch, especially with its unique purple sunray finish dial! The band is by no means frayed, and the sapphire crystal is a big bonus. And it's hard for us lum lovers to beat the lum of this watch. Overall great value for such a beautiful and functional watch!

Nice watch but one flaw

After researching many dive watches from Seiko and Orient I finally settled on this one. Everything is on paper. Personally it's amazing. However, there was one point I couldn't agree with, so I sent it back: the color of the hands and hour markers. They are very yellow. More than any other watch I've ever owned. I understand it's the phosphor, but my Seiko, Hamilton, and Swiss Army watches have luminous areas that are much whiter.

Beautiful watch the best of accessories

I love this watch. It's beautiful and well made for the price. So far it's keeping the time very well (-5 seconds in 48 hours). The dial is more maroon than red, and the black bezel really makes the dial stand out. The bracelet is pretty easy to set up if you have the right tools. If I only considered the bracelet I would give it 3 stars. I hope Strapcode makes a super watch soon. In general the watch looks fantastic, keeping time very well. The sapphire crystal really sets this watch apart…

The best dive watch I've found for the money.

I bought my first dive watch, a Seiko mechanical, in 1974 with a basic Coast Guard set for $80. I've had a dive watch ever since, apart from a brief play with one of those beeping MF Casio digital watches. Kamasu is my third east. The first, Shark or Mako, one or the other was hit by a fall and the day/date window frame flew to the side. I replaced it with something that wasn't in the first one. Everything was very accurate and the only complaint was the lume. Not with Kamasu; It has one of the

Terrible bracelet, not many updates from mako

watch not great, bezel rotates very easily, feels almost cheap, only improvement from mako at $120 is sapphire crystal, everything else feels exactly the same, is not worth twice the price of a Mako, the strap is full of junk, the end links don't fit well and the folding clasp opens easily, note this is a double button clasp and it doesn't come off but the folded part snags your shirt and opens . I've replaced this watch a few times to find various issues, it might be worth spending a little…

I had to replace the first one. The second one has the same problem

the first one has it. It took me 15 minutes to unscrew the crown. Then I spent another 15-20 minutes shooting it again. I think it had some bad threads on it. Only available to me for a few hours. Sent back immediately for replacement. A new one arrived two days later. Krone worked much better. But still, the design of the crown is kind of awkward. Difficult to get it out due to metal protruding on both sides. I really didn't have enough time to write an additional review. Maybe I'll add it…

Great watch at a great price.

Great watch at a great price. This watch is amazing in person. Online photos say nothing. The build quality is fantastic for the price. Overall I'm very impressed. For the money, mine runs about +8 seconds per day (within spec). Sapphire crystal, updated and new movement, day of the week and date work in one frame unlike most watches. Japanese-made automatic mechanism that allows hacking and manual winding. You are ok with the specs. The only downside I see is that the bracelet is not of the…

Must be an accessible diver!

I originally received the red dial version as the green (turquoise) dial was not available at the time and was more expensive. At the time I thought I would like both equally. I tried to love the red dial but found that red is not my color when it comes to watch faces. I also didn't like that the bezel insert was black instead of red. Still, it was a great watch. I kept it for a while but eventually sold it and got this green dial from Amazon too. Pros: Sapphire burglary and hand-wound…

Great watch, with one glaring problem

This is my second Orient, another Ray II which I have owned for over a year now. The Kamasu is a great watch (I bought the dark green version), slightly heavier than the Ray II, and the accuracy of both watches is pretty darn good (around +6/7s/day). As others have said the green dial is dark, it looks black in many situations but when the green is visible it's great. The entire dial is well made. The bezel rotates easily, alignment with the dial is accurate, and the clicks are satisfying…
