I installed several bathrooms at once. This time we spent the extra money on a high quality brass waste set to match our beautiful Kohler bathtub. All items in the box have been removed from their original packaging and then reinserted but not secured. Then they were put back in the box apparently without the factory packaging. I was waiting for the factory novelty. What I got was a rusty mush. I thought all parts of the drain worked so I installed it. When tested, it then flows out of the connection of the stem to the T-piece. This linkage is either factory fitted or was installed correctly by the previous owner, but I was unable to remove it for fear of damaging the stock. I will be contacting Kohler to see if I can purchase parts and will update this review with the results. To get it back I have to remove the tub and wait for the new item to block my project. I am extremely disappointed. I could buy a cheap plastic one and everything would be fine! I'll see if I can add some photos to that.
