Great bag for my needs. Read reviews before buying it may not be your thing

2 year update: I still love the bag. It has become a dedicated bag for your laptop, accessories, tablet and Kindle. It lives in my car when I have downtime. Original Review: After reading the reviews I decided to buy this bag instead of the smaller version, glad I did! The bag looks good, the materials look and feel good, the stitching feels solid and overall this is a great little bag. I was replacing my Mil-Tech brand assault backpack, which looks like a standard military assault backpack, but I wanted something smaller. I bought this bag to walk to work with my laptop and various essentials, which it does well for. I slip my Dell XPS 13 into a laptop sleeve with ease and I'm sure it will fit a standard 15 inch laptop, although it's a little tight. I also have a smartphone, USB cables, laptop power adapter, large Logitech mouse, Beats Bluetooth headphones, first aid kit and other stuff. I could wear a change of clothes or a jacket if needed. I wouldn't take this on a trip if I didn't have a second backpack or duffel bag. My assault pack was great for this purpose as it was just as roomy, but I didn't need a bag that big to carry back and forth to work or the coffee shop. I also don't recommend this as a backpack for a day hike. I use my Osprey daypack for hiking, it's much better for climbing than this bag. A stroll around town might be fine, but I can already tell you that on an actual hike (like a day hike up Mount Monadnock or something) the bag is going to cause back pain. Things I like: Bag looks good Build quality looks reasonable Overall minimalist design Curved shoulder straps are comfortable Rubber bottom is a good option The bag stands on its own, much better than flapping around Constructive criticism: I agree with one of the reviews I've read You, two zippers on the front pockets would be much better. You need to be aware of what you are doing when you open the top small pocket or things will fall out. Not critical, but for future design considerations. The cell phone pocket could be a bit bigger, my Galaxy S5 with the Spigen case is tight. Standard 100ml Nalgene fits in the side pockets. Again, this is a tight fit. The handle could be longer, it's a little hard to grab with my big hands. Conclusion: Great bag for my purpose. If you want the bag to fly, go on car rides, or hit the trail, this isn't the best choice. If you need a coffee shop bag for your small laptop along with a few accessories then this item is great.
