The cable is fine, but the end, the plug, does not match the phone. My phone is my lifeline. In an emergency, I want to be able to pick up the phone and hear the dial tone so I can get help. I couldn't do that with this cable as it doesn't mate with the standard AT&T landline cable I bought with it. The end of the cable, the connector, does not fit the phone properly. There's a lot of wiggle room so the phone rings a million times with every call, every time I move or breathe, and when I first pick up the phone - to make or answer a call - it's quite difficult to connect to manufacture. - an attempt to accurately insert the plug into the phone to create a real connection with the outside world. It's frustrating and potentially dangerous not being able to make an emergency call without spending some time working with the phone cord. You'll have to look elsewhere for a reliable cable. I don't know if it's too late to get my money back, but I put up with this problem for a long time.
