I bought this screen because of the price and availability. Every screen that we thought would work is either sold out or will be unavailable for a long time. We had a fixed frame screen hanging from the ceiling but didn't have the luxury of removing it unless we removed it entirely. We also had a TV on the wall behind it and were looking for a screen for the projector that was easy to work with. Well when this one arrived it was packaged very well. We hung it on the existing hooks and connected the USB transmitter to the back of our projector. When the projector was turned on, the screen went down. When we turned off the projector, the screen went up! So easy. You can also freeze the screen in any position you like. We recently saw the new Justice League movie shot in 4:3 aspect ratio. It filled the entire screen and was phenomenal to watch! The case is very high quality and durable. The motor isn't loud, but it's not very quiet either, that's okay. The screen shuts down at a good speed - not too fast and not too slow. The pull rod looks very "light" to me. It's like there's no meat in it. I've included pictures of the tension rod that show small ripples, but this does not affect the picture quality as the center of the screen is very flat with no ripples. You will hardly notice the waves on the side as the picture is gorgeous. The screen is grey/silver tinted to diffuse ambient light. It's great for us as we see with crisp images and colors at all times of the day. I'm only giving it four stars because of the side waves, which don't affect the image quality in the slightest. It works for us and for the price and quality we can't complain. More advantages than disadvantages!
