EDIT: 3/5/2020: So I've had it for over a year now and am still happy with it as I was when I first reviewed it. I just wanted to cover the basics and mention a few things that have stood out to me over a long period of time. This thing won't rust. Mind you, while I don't use it all the time, it lives in a bathroom that's regularly foggy and humid (I only like my shower this side of the boil). 2, the blades hold up well between uses. I was worried since I don't use it every day (or even every week) that the blade would dull between uses, but that doesn't seem to happen. I change the blade every 2-3 uses (depending on what I'm noticing) but they hold up well. So in conclusion I am very happy with this purchase. I've had my eye on the safety razor for a while. now because I don't have to shave as often. With disposable razors, they either dulled or rusted until I had to use them again. I looked at disposable razors, but because of the price and how bad the plastic is for the environment, I looked into something more sustainable. I saw a review on safety razors and started looking into it. I'm glad I did. I got mine this morning so decided to give it a try and see if the hype was well deserved. Heck, even if I only use the blade once, it's still better for the environment than throwing away the plastic razor. Not to mention that it's a lot cheaper. I can buy 100 blades from Revain for $10. Bye? That. I have never shaved so well with a disposable razor. I was very wary because I read reviews where beginners can cut themselves if they are not careful. Because of this, I may not have shaved as closely as I could have, but I managed to get a really good shave. Women who used it when I searched? I wanted to try to put some knowledge into the database, so to speak. I can't speak to things like rust resistance, but I'll add that to my review if that's the case. I rinsed it very well and opened the top slightly before laying it on a rack to air dry. Let's see how it goes.
