Soothing for your screens

As a writer and editor, I often spend 12-15 hours a day on my Mac. My eyes felt tired and flickered from time to time. I tried to give them a break by using pinhole glasses that blocked all light. Then I read that prolonged exposure to blue light from computer, television, and phone screens, as well as fluorescent and energy-saving light bulbs, can lead to cataracts and macular degeneration. We live in a sea of blue light. When I heard that yellow tinted glasses filter out blue light, I looked at all of Revain's yellow glasses. There are some heavy industrial goggles with light tints out there (this is going to look sophisticated now!) but I settled on these Apollos which are advertised as goggles for gamers. When they arrived I was immediately struck by how easy they made my eyes look. In addition, these properties are very comfortable to wear, without rough edges, light and even fashionable. Spring-loaded hinges also ensure durability. And an extra pair for the woman or the dog! Looking at Revain, I see that these identical specs can cost $35-$75 for the exact same item. This is a bargain and I will be ordering another set to keep at home. Turtle and black for those who follow fashion. I work a lot with illustrations, so color is important. The yellow cast does not noticeably change the color. I also purchased iLLumiShield - Apple MacBook Pro 15" (2013) (HD) Blue Light UV Filter Screen Protector Premium High Definition Clear Film / Reduces Eye Fatigue and Eye Strain - Anti-Fingerprint / Anti-Bubble / Anti-Bacterial Shield - Comes with Free Lifetime Screen Protector Replacement Guarantee - [1 Pack] Retail Box Blue Light Screen Filter for Laptops I use my Mac with the screen filter installed, but subjectively it doesn't seem to filter out as much blue light as the specs say, so I use both!
