butterflies arrive with their wings firmly closed, not open like the product photo on amazon. If you try to open the wings a little they are fragile and will break, flimsy cheap plastic. The wings had to be on flexible cables so they could be opened easily. Another problem is that the light in them is quite dim, so in the dark of night they are nowhere near as bright as shown in the photo. Another issue is that the colors in the product photo need to be boosted as they are not half as bright and colorful as the picture. The last complaint is that all the butterflies are hanging upside down in the tensioned wire set and have no way to secure them in a natural upright position, such as in a vertical position. B. with wire ties or staples at the base of the butterflies. The butterfly light is a huge disappointment and a huge misrepresentation of the product as shown in the attached photo. I cannot recommend them and will not buy them again.
