had some stability issues when used with a USB3 adapter, but changing the port fixed it (common with pat drives on USB adapters). I can't access Kingston's built-in mSata smart drive, nor can I update the mSata firmware, but achieved 90+ MB/s reading and writing to mSata over USB3. will be updated as soon as I have a chance to test a direct pat install. Let's see if it can even use a really old 2.8GHz P4 with 1GB RAM compared to a 5400rpm mechanical drive that takes many minutes to boot. Starred because another adapter/enclosure is required to update the firmware on the mSata SSD. EDIT: Through the Pata connector in a laptop (Toshiba a25-s307) DOS could see the drive and its contents, but I couldn't make my clone bootable, nor could I get a clean install of xp to the boot point.
