Very good fit! I have a Prius and it fits my passenger seat very well. The flaps that run down the sides of the seat are strong and flexible enough to stay in place. I'm not worried about the dog's claws, the fabric is quite dense and strong. My favorite feature is the buckle around the headrest. It lifts up when the dog rides along and then easily unfolds and folds completely (plus hangs over the seat) to make room for a seated person or for me to put my bag down. My kids are too big and take up too much space for the dog to ride in the back, so this was the perfect solution for me. Haven't ridden a wet dog yet, but the fabric is waterproof enough for the slightly wet and muddy paws that come with a dog running across the lawn on the way to the car. Now I'm wondering why didn't I get one of these a long time ago to protect my car from my kids?
