First digital camera. I wanted something inexpensive and easy to use to take good pictures. It was a pleasure to use. Yesterday I tried to photograph something very close for the first time and it came out blurry - I found the close-up setting in the menu, set it to Auto and everything turned out perfectly. The small memory card holds many photos and can be easily replaced, as can the battery for charging. I also received an accessory kit that included a spare battery, screen protector, case, AC/DC charger, and tiny tripod, which I thought was a joke but works great. I also recommend this link: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007FTJF2I/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17 In general, I don't understand how to choose the best camera, I'm very happy with it. UPDATE: Still working great after five years. I had a problem with my computer not being able to read the memory card, so I connected the whole camera to the USB port and the camera software solved my problem. I spent $95 on it and it's the best money I've ever spent.
